The 2019 Mâcon-Lugny La Carte has an attractive nose of cooking apple, fresh pear and touches of fennel in the background. I admire the focus of this wine. The palate is well balanced with fine depth, a crisp line of acidity, lively and gaining weight towards the finish, quite peachy on the aftertaste. Fine. Tasted blind at the BIVB Mâconnais tasting.
